	DCYP Kiwanis Annual Halloween Carnival Volunteer at The Children's Inn! Wednesday, Oct. 30, 5:30 - 9:00 PM The Children's Inn at NIH 7 West Drive, Bethesda, MD, Metro: Medical Center (red line) We are very excited to announce a brand new location for this year's Kiwanis Halloween Carnival -- The Children's Inn at the National Institute of Health (NIH)! This event will serve between 50-80 children and their familiy members residing at The Inn as they undergo treatment at NIH. In addition to our traditional Halloween-themed carnival games, arts and crafts, and pumpkin decorating activities, DCYP Kiwanis will cook a homemade dinner for the families. We invite you to join us in making this a special, fun-filled Halloween for the kids and their families! P.S. Costume are highly encouraged!! Volunteers are needed to: cook and serve dinner lead carnival games and activities exchange tickets for prizes at the prize table assist with pumpkin decorating help children make dessert dirt cups set up and clean up for the event Volunteers are asked to arrive by 5:30 PM (or earlier if possible) as families will arrive for dinner at 6:00 PM. If you are available to help earlier, a setup/dinner prep team is needed as early as 4:00 PM. If you can't arrive until later in the evening, no problem, just let us know when to expect you.
