I was told you want to avoid Monday and Friday. It may not get noticed by media writers...

Re: [NSCoderNightDC] best day to release an app on the App Store?

Just remember to factor in review time. A week or more in some cases if your app uses device stuff not in the simulator.  SLFOn Nov 29, 2012, at 7:51 AM, Kevin Barrett <kevboh@gmail.com> wrote:Hey guys, Is there a "best" day/time to release an app on the App Store? [NSCoderNightDC] best day to release an app on the App Store?

Hey guys,Is there a "best" day/time to release an app on the App Store? I've read that Thursday is when Apple refreshes its lists, and the last day before the end-of-year freeze is a Thursday (the 20th), so that would seem like a great time to release... is that true, or would it leave me locked out until post-freeze? I can't find a good summary anyway of how the new/top lists are compiled.Kevin -- You received this message...

Hey all, especially Jose, Michael, Jason, Mark, and [the very tall guy - no offense].  I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and looking forward to conversing again!   Jose - huge thanks for the Git tutorial.  This week I aim to memorize the chapter-titles for "Version Control with Git" by Jon Loeliger as well as "Pro Git" by Scott Chacon.  That way, I'll know what it is that I don't know.   Catcha [later],...

Re: [NSCoderNightDC] Excited about the next meeting!

Marcus Zarra's Core Data book is another decent resource - he's in the process of doing the v2 version right now. PragProg lets you buy during the writing/revision phase and get access to the the PDFs as Marcus finishes them. They're running a Cyber Monday sale for 40% off everything with the code TURKEY, so it's only $12.60 for the PDF. I grabbed it earlier today even though I've already got the last version (the chapters on...
