ND-DC INAUGURAL BOOKSTORE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT  (6/21)

We are just four weeks away from the inaugural DC Bookstore Basketball tournament, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 21. We're still finalizing tournament plans and will communicate details soon. The current plan is to have a 1-day 3v3 tournament followed by a post-tournament awards celebration/party. All funds raised will either support the ND-DC scholarship fund or a local charity. If you are interested in captaining a team for this event or would like to help organize the tournament, please contact Matt Hopke at mhopke@gmail.com.

ND CO-ED SOFTBALL LEAGUE

The 2014 Capital Alumni Network (CAN) Co-Ed Softball League season is now in full swing. Though we have a core group that has played for several years, we are always looking for new faces who like to play some ball and drink some beverages. Jimmy and I are both getting up there in years and life experiences, so fresh legs are always good to have on "diamond" aka the rocky patch of grass near the Washington Monument. If you have a glove, and/or like drinking beers mid-week, then you qualify! For more information please contact coach Jimmy Mandich '02/'03 MSA at jimmymandich@yahoo.com and Brandon Lenk '06 at brandonlenk@gmail.com. Go Irish!
