We've been receiving many inquiries and in order to help out our students, I'm sending an email with just those looking for temporary housing. ***Yiwei Shen, Notre Dame Class of 2015, is looking for a room/apartment to rent for 10 weeks from June 2nd to August 15th. I'm studying IT Management and Psychology and will be interning with Liquidity Services in downtown D.C. Proximity to a Metro would be wonderful! ***My name is Carina Suarez, and I am in the Notre Dame Class of 2016. I will be interning with National Geographic Channel and am looking for somewhere to stay in DC from June 1st to August 23rd (a little over 11 weeks). I'm more than willing to help with household chores--although I am really not a good cook so you'd probably want me to stick to cleaning--and am pretty organized. I have three dogs back home, so pets are totally okay with me. I don't smoke and would prefer to live with other nonsmokers. I'd also prefer to live with either all girls or a family. *** Matt Arth, Notre Dame Law Class of 2015, is looking for an apartment to sublet from June 21st to August 29th, although I'm flexible on starting a sublet earlier and not staying through the end of August if a place is only available until the middle of August. I'm 25, born and raised near Dallas/Fort Worth, went to undergrad at Fordham, worked at an advertising agency in NYC for a year, then headed to South Bend to pursue commercial law. I'll be interning with the USTDA's Office of General Counsel in Arlington, so proximity to a Metro station (preferably Blue/Orange line) would be great. I'm very neat and organized, and my mother tells me I'm easy to get along with. Also, I have no pets (sadly) and I don't smoke. ***Samuel Leung, Notre Dame Class of 2015, is looking for a room to rent or apartment to rent for 12 weeks in the summer. I am happy to live with a roommate as well. I am a chemical engineer from Granger, IN and I will be interning at MPR in Alexandria, VA this summer. I'm looking to spend no more than $2,500 for the summer. I do not require too much space, but I do need something furnished and ideally either close to a subway station or in Alexandria. I do not smoke or have pets, but I am open to a place with pets. I am a Political Science Major with double minor in Business Economics and Peace Studies originally from Tyler, Texas. I am hoping to minimize costs due to the fact that I am heading to Santiago, Chile shortly after the internship to study abroad in Fall 2014. I am very clean and organized.
