[wapadc] FW: Fwd: SfAA 2014 Annual Meeting Abstract Deadline Extended to October 31

President Roberto Alvarez announced today an extension of the deadline for the receipt of abstracts for the 74th Annual Meeting in Albuquerque, March 18-22, 2014. The new deadline is October 31, 2013 (the earlier deadline was October 15). President Alvarez explained that the extension was necessitated by the shutdown of the Federal Government, which had a significant impact on government employees who planned to participate in the Albuquerque Meeting. The extension will allow those members some additional time to prepare and submit abstracts for the Meeting Program. The extension is open to all potential participants, whether Federal/state employees or not.
