I realize that living in Reston, the haul to Bethesda might not be a pleasant one, or even possible in some cases. But, if you can make it, I would suggest you swing by. You'll find people who are willing to help you out. It doesn't matter if you're just getting your head wrapped around git or if you have some obscure Cocoa question, we're likely to have someone who can help you out.
If you can't make it to Bethesda, then I'd suggest you ask questions here, on our mailing list. Specific questions usually get better answers. Something like "I'm trying to get my UINavController to do X, but when I do Y it only gives some Z, what's going on?" is much better than "How do I make an iPhone game?"
Hope to see you around,
Jose

Hello NSCoders! I've been doing small iOS programming jobs for three years part time now, and would really like some help getting set up with Github and some other basic developer stuff. I live in Reston near the Town Center; if anybody is out this way i'd be happy to hire someone for a small gig or two. Also have some projects I might want help on. Thanks!
