[ND-DC-YA] Mass and Dinner at GMU!

Dear Notre Dame and Saint Mary's alumni,

The Notre Dame Club of Greater Washington, DC, is hosting a family Mass and potluck dinner at George Mason University's (GMU) Catholic Campus Chapel. There are a number of Christian service activities the combined alumni of both schools can participate in to help our communities, and we try to find activities that families can do together.  Some examples are local parish food banks, nursing home ministry, tutoring, and helping the homeless.

The details of the family mass and dinner are:

Date:

November 9, 2013
Time: 5:30 PM mass
Location: GMU's Catholic Campus Ministry Chapel
St. Robert Bellarmine, 4515 Roberts Road, Fairfax, VA
Mass Celebrant:
Father Bill Dowart, CSC

The club will provide ham; paper goods and non-alcoholic beverages. Please bring a side dish or desert to share with the group (and label for food allergies, no peanuts or tree nuts please).  BYOB is allowed, if you like to have beer or wine.  Contributions towards the club expenses are appreciated and welcomed.

We will also be collecting non-perishable goods for Thanksgiving meals and new or gently used children's books at this event for local charities, including the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) program.

Please RSVP some we can have a head count to:

Michelle Gilles, mgilles@verizon.net or 703-764-3022

Joe Libby, libbyclu@aol.com or 703 220 2275

The activity room has a maximum seating capacity of 125 people. This is a family event and children are welcomed. We hope to see you there.

Sincerely,

Molly Savage, Club President
