Happy Thursday DCYP!
This Sunday, June 16, DCYP will be throwing a special Father's Day dinner at the NIH Children's Inn. We are going to be fixing dinner for more than 70 people who are receiving treatment at NIH or staying with a sick loved one as they receive treatment. You are all going to play a huge role in helping us prepare and serve the meal. Our meal theme is going to be "Breakfast for Dinner", and we'll be preparing some yummy breakfast foods, such as a choose your own toppings pancake station. (Chocolate chip smiley faces are a must!) We're also going to be having craft stations and activities for the kids as well.

Specific details about the project will be sent out by Saturday morning. For now, if you'd like to participate, please email DCYP.Service@gmail.com to let us know you'll be attending. We don't normally ask that our volunteers give a strong indication about whether they'll be able to participate, but we want to make sure that we have enough volunteers. Also, if you can't be there at the exact start time, but can come by later, that's still helpful!
When: Sunday, June 16
Time: 4:00-8:00 pm (The meal is to be served at 6 pm)
Where: NIH Chidren's Inn, Bethesda
Metro and parking accessible; also let us know if you need a ride in your email. We'll work on arranging carpools.
