DCYP Kiwanis Annual Meeting, Elections, and New Member Meet & Greet

Kick-off the summer with DCYP!

WHEN:
Wednesday, June 26, 6:30-8:30 pm

WHERE:
West End Library, 2nd Floor,
1101 24th Street, NW, Washington, DC
Metro: Foggy Bottom (orange/blue)

This meeting is unique as it will include:

• Voting by the membership for: 2013-14 Board of Directors; and changes to club bylaws (see revised bylaws attached)
  
• Breakout groups for feedback and recommendations on upcoming club activities
• New Member Meet & Greet (At McFadden's immediately following the meeting from 7:30-8:30pm)
• Magazine drive service project: donate your old magazines to clients of Food for All
• And of course, socializing and networking with fellow young professionals! 

WHO:
Members are highly encouraged to attend! Come to cast your votes, bring ideas for future events, and help welcome our newest members at the Meet & Greet.
Interested in learning about leadership opportunities within the board or committees? Just contact me for more information.

Not a member yet? Officially join DCYP before this meeting in order to participate in voting and be eligible to run for office. The mid-year membership dues rate is currently discounted to $50 and is good through September. If you join now through September 2014, you can save even more. New members, join us at the meeting to share your ideas for the club, and as our special guests of honor at the Meet & Greet, your first round is on us!
