2015 MARCH FOR LIFE EVENTS
Notre Dame Right to Life would like to extend an invitation to this year's March for Life in Washington, DC. We have loved having Notre Dame alumni march with us in the past and would be so honored for your attendance this year as well.
Pre-March Events - Wednesday, January 21
Theology on Tap: Join young adults from DC-Catholic-Young Adult Ministry in the Archdiocese of Washington & Arlington Young Adult Ministry for a one-night Theology on Tap on Wednesday, January 21 (the evening before the March for Life) at Buffalo Billiards in Dupont Circle. All young adults are invited for Happy Hour specials from 6-7pm with a talk and Q/A to follow from 7-8pm. For those interested, Mass is available before the talk at 5:30 pm at the Cathedral of St. Matthew 3 blocks away. *Exciting speaker announcement to come!* For more information, visit the Facebook event.
The Day of the March - Thursday, January 22
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: If you live in the Falls Church or Arlington area, we need volunteers to help greet and serve breakfast to the ND students who are arriving by bus from campus. The students are expected to arrive at 6:00 a.m. at St. Agnes in Arlington, VA and will be served a light breakfast before mass begins at 10 a.m. If you are available to help out, please contact Claire Capretta (cmcfam01@gmail.com).
Mass: All are invited to join Fr. John Jenkins and the Notre Dame students for Mass at St. Agnes Parish in Arlington, VA prior to the Rally for Life at the National Mall and the March for Life. Mass will begin at 10:00am on Thursday January 22nd.
March: We will be gathering for the March for Life during the Rally for Life on the National Mall starting at approximately 11:30am. We will gather (when facing the stage) on the left side as close to the front as possible. Every student will be wearing a blue beanie or blue headband with the NDRTL logo on the front. Look for the large Notre Dame Right to Life Banner. Don't forget to pick up some awesome Notre Dame Right to Life apparel before you march at our RTL student shop!
More information will be added regularly to the March for Life 2015 Facebook Page and our March for Life Trip Site. Please email NDMarchforLife@gmail.com with questions.
EARLY ADMIT STUDENT RECEPTION (1/26)
Calling all ND alums and current students– please join us at the Early Admit Reception on Monday, January 26th to welcome high school seniors who have been offered early admission to Notre Dame. This is an opportunity to mingle with early admit students and their families, share your experiences, answer questions, and offer a glimpse into what makes Notre Dame so special. Your insights, knowledge, and passion will be key to the success of this event, so we'd love to have you! The reception will be held at the now Silver Line-accessible Gordon Biersch Brewery at Tyson's Corner from 7:00-9:00 p.m. (located on the lower level across from Barnes and Noble). Pizza and beverages will be served. Please RSVP to Amy Walker '08 (amy.lauren.walker@gmail.com). We hope to see you there!
HAPPY HOUR AND MEN'S BASKETBALL VS DUKE (1/28)
Join us for happy hour at Parlay (1827 M Street NW) on Wednesday, January 28th, at 5:30 pm. And stick around until 7:30 pm to watch the Irish face off against the Duke Blue Devils! Specials will run from 5:30 through the end of the game, including:

$6 draft beers, house wines, and fruit-infused vodka
$7 Papa Smurfs, mojitos, and other house favorites

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT THE AN-BRYCE FOUNDATION
Notre Dame alum, Bryant Welters '10, has a need for mentors at The An-Bryce Foundation. It is a private non-profit organization dedicated to serving youth and young adults from under-served communities through academic, career, cultural, and leadership skill development activities.
They are looking for young professionals in the DC area that would be interested in becoming mentors for youth. Anybody who has a college degree or work experience, and is excited about working with youth would be a great candidate! (Note that this is different than the ND-WIN Mentoring Program, which matches seasoned professionals with recent graduates)
Please contact Bryant Welters or Elizabeth Shirley to participate in this great program!
