[ND-DC-YA] ND-DC-YA Event Newsletter: Career Night & Theology on Tap

Young Alums,

Happy New Year! What an exciting ND football win in the Music City Bowl this past week. We have two reminders for Career Night and Theology on Tap coming up in the next couple weeks.

EVENTS IN THIS ISSUE:

  • ND-DC Annual Career Night (Thursday, 1/15)

  • One-Night Theology on Tap for March for Life (Wednesday, 1/21)

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Getting involved with the ND-DC Club!

  • ND-DC Club Online Membership

ND-DC ANNUAL CAREER NIGHT (1/15)

Please join us for the ND Club of DC's annual Career Night. Come and meet with local ND alumni present to shed light on recent industry trends, provide some guidance on hiring practices and answer any questions you have.

Why you should attend:

  • You have industry experience that you'd like to share. Come share your wisdom with fellow ND graduates who are considering a career in your industry.

  • You just want to network. This event is always a great networking event and an opportunity to meet new alumni and catch up with those you haven't seen in awhile.

  • You're actively looking for a job. Even if you're just considering making a job or career change everyone knows that who you know is as important as what you know.

There will be "Industry Specific Tables" set up around the room so you can make relevant connections easier. Please let us know during registration which industry interests you most.

For those of you looking for resume advice or for a new career in the DC metro area:

Katie Ferrello ('14) is a Recruiter at HireStrategy and her team will be available to answer any questions you may have in concerning your job search. HireStrategy specializes in the fields of IT, Finance & Accounting, Sales & Marketing and Human Resources & Administrative. Be sure to bring extra resumes! Feel free to check out HireStrategy's website before then: http://www.hirestrategy.com.

MARCH FOR LIFE THEOLOGY ON TAP (1/21)

Join young adults from DC-Catholic-Young Adult Ministry in the Archdiocese of Washington & Arlington Young Adult Ministry for a one-night Theology on Tap on Wednesday, January 21 (the evening before the March for Life) at Buffalo Billiards in Dupont Circle. All young adults are invited for Happy Hour specials from 6-7pm with a talk and Q/A to follow from 7-8pm.
