Ice Skating at the Sculpture Garden Volunteer with Loaves and Fishes *NEW* Special Announcement: Street Sense Forum on Mental Health and Homelessness Join Street Sense January 27th for their latest forum and networking event, focused on Mental Health and Homelessness. Each day, 1,800 DC residents are experiencing chronic homelessness. About 40% of those experiencing chronic homelessness and 30% of DC families experiencing homelessness also suffer from a serious mental disorder. Providing supportive housing is a necessary, effective, and economical way to treat serious mental disorders among these individuals and families. RSVP here- http://ssmh.eventbrite.com.
