As per usual, we will be meeting tonight at La Madeleine near the Bethesda Metro station around 7:00pm. So I hope to see you there later, tonight.
We are fast approaching the time of year where we hold iOSDevCampDC. This will be the fifth one! Can you believe it? I'm sure a lot of you have been to one of the previous ones, but for those who may have not, let me describe it a bit. First off, the web site for it is http://iosdevcampdc.com
Basically, its a short and sweet and local conference our good friend Luis de la Rosa has been putting on for our community. It only lasts a single day and has a single track. NSCoder Night DC is all about fostering the sense of community in our area. iOSDevCampDC further helps us strengthen those local bonds. It is a great place to hang out and see what everyone is up to. The conference encourages lots of hanging out time, so if you have had trouble making it to our weekly meetings, this is a great time to catch up with friends.
BTW, while iOSDevCampDC does have a cover charge, it tends to be super comfortable and you wind up getting most of it back with the almost comical amounts of food Louie gets every year (there, I put you on the spot Louie.)
Finally, iOSDevCampDC is also a great opportunity to share what you have been up to. We are still looking for speakers. This is a very friendly and comfortable environment, and if you've been meaning to do a presentation, now is the time!
Take care ya'll,
Jose
