Senior iOS Mobile Apps Developer needed ASAP to complete development,
test, debug, and deploy a highly-available Enterprise Application using
the .NET Framework and SQL Server technologies.

Location: Downtown DC (close to the metro stop)
On-site: Yes 100%
Hours: Full time
Duration: 2 months (may be extended)
Start Date: 8/1
Rate: $100 per hour

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Completes development and integrates a mobile application on
iPhone/iPad (iOS) tablet technology, leveraging iOS, XCode, Objective-C,
C++ skills
* Confirms application objectives by analyzing user requirements to
current application, streamlines and upgrades functionality where
applicable, and study's existing technology architecture to ensure
successful integration into .NET framework
* Confirms functionality of application by conducting tests; modifies
program sequence and/or debugging codes; mitigates/resolves technical
issues
* Enhances current user interfaces by modifying current design and tool
sets; implements reusable component design
* Integrates application by understanding database architecture and
server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network
systems, search engines, and information servers; creates web services
calls to existing database to ensure data flow between application and
databases
* Completes application development by verifying requirements,
schedules, and activities; contributes to team meetings; develops common
site infrastructure; maintains dynamic data for site
* Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools;
prepares workflow charts and diagrams using knowledge of computer and
ASP.NET programming capabilities, subject matter, human factors, and
logic; monitors release schedules; follows project development
methodology, responds to support and maintenance requests
* Enhances organization's reputation by accepting ownership for
accomplishing new and different requests; explores and identifies
opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Engineering or a related field  
* 8+ years' experience with object oriented programming, including
strong working knowledge and experience with UML and design patterns
* 2+ years' development experience developing iOS and Android
applications
* 6+ years development experience with the Microsoft .NET platform,
including C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
* Strong programming skills, specifically using XCode, Objective-C,
Java, and JavaScript
* Systems integration experience with web services
* Proficient in .NET development
* Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server and
Oracle Databases
* Exposure to all aspects of the software development lifecycle

WORK LOCATION:
Washington, D.C., close to Metro Center stop

SECURITY CLEARANCE:
* Applicant selected will be subject to a government security
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to
classified information
* Applicant must possess and/or be eligible to be granted a Public Trust
clearance
