Looking for Short-Term Housing

· (NEW) My name is Natalie Helfrick, and I graduated from Notre Dame in 2008. I am originally from Sacramento, CA. I just started working for Franciscan Mission Service, which is right by CUA.  I am hoping to spend in the $650-$800 range a month on rent/utilities depending on the location, and would prefer to be somewhere near the red line or easy bus/biking/walking toward CUA. I'm clean, organized and considerate, and don't come with pets. I'm used to and plan on living simply. Available Short-Term Opportunity

· (NEW) Lease: August/September 2013 through the end of December 2013 (4 or 5 months).  I am moving at the end of December 2013, and you can potentially extend the lease on your own at that time.
About the Condo: 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo in Park Glen complex.  It's on Columbia Pike and Arlington Mill Dr. behind the brand new Arlington Community Center.  Right next to an awesome running trail.  2 miles down the road from 395 N/S.  10 minutes to Clarendon.  5 minutes to Shirlington.  The pool is also open through Labor Day.
I'm asking for $1,000/month, which includes the large master bedroom, all utilities, internet, Hulu Plus/Netflix (it's easy to hook-up cable TV if you want to), and a parking space.  The condo is very furnished, except for the bedroom.
About me: I am a 27 year-old female who works 3-4 days per week, 12-hour shifts.  I'm very clean, quiet, and respectful, but I like to have fun in the summer/fall in DC!  I also have an awesome cat named Giorgio.

· Jennifer has a housing opportunity available starting June 20th if anyone is looking for housing for the summer (or from June through next year). It's a condo in Rosslyn right near the Rosslyn metro (about a 5 minute walk). Rent is $1100/month plus utilities, but that is negotiable. · Two ND alums have a room opening in their apartment from the beginning of June to the middle of August. We are currently law students at Georgetown and one of our roommates will be gone for the summer. Looking For Permanent Housing

· (NEW) Dante Garcia is a 2013 graduate who will be starting work mid-July in McLean.  He's looking for housing between $800 and $1200 per month and doesn't mind sharing an apartment.  Email dgarci11@alumni.nd.edu if interested.

· Michael Jackson is a fifth year (originally class of 2012) and will be moving to the Arlington area in early to mid-July for a job at Tysons Corner. He's looking to either house or apartment share once he moves to DC! Price range is $750-1100. Contact mjackson@alumni.nd.edu if interested.

Has a Room/Apartment Available

· (NEW) Charlie Gardner (class of 2010, Echo graduate 2012) is looking for a new roommate to fill a spot in a 3 BR at Summit Hills Apartments in Silver Spring. There are two other roommates (who share a room), both friendly guys from Cameroon. The apartment is a 10-minute walk to the Silver Spring Metro, on the Red line, and a 5-minute walk to buses that go down 16th St. into the city (toward Dupont Circle). Giant (grocery store), Rite-Aid, Starbuck's, Einstein Brothers, McDonald's, Q'doba are all within walking distance, right around the metro. The apartment has wall-to-wall carpeting, central heat and air conditioning. The available room is about 10' x 13' and has a good-sized closet. Apartment is very affordable at $650 per month, all utilities included (except internet)! Available Aug. 1, though date is somewhat flexible. The roommate moving out is leaving before his lease ends on Sept. 17, so you would pay him through Sept. 17 and then sign onto a year-long lease starting on that date. · My roommates and I are looking for a new roommate to share a 4 BR, 2.5 bath house in Georgetown. We're looking for someone to move in any time in July, but by August 1. The house is 2 blocks from Wisconsin and M, so it's convenient to all of Georgetown and a short Circulator (or about 5 other bus options) ride from the Rosslyn, Foggy Bottom or Dupont Metro stops. Several buses make it very accessible to Metro Center, Dupont Circle and Capitol Hill. It's spacious with lots of communal living space (a huge living room, large dining room and kitchen). We have a schedule to fairly apportion garbage and chore duties. The house has a washer and dryer, a yard and a basement for storage. We already have the common areas fully furnished and there's an option to have the bedroom furnished as well. The rent is $975 per month, plus utilities, which usually run $100-$150 per month per person. We're looking for a non-smoking, mid-20s woman who is friendly and social.
