Hi - Let me try this again (my email got away from me...)!
Do you all know that we're having an Open House event on THURSDAY, June 4, at 6:15 PM? In case you don't know, we have been asked by the Viva Center to change our meeting day and time from the 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 6:45 to the 1st and 3rd Thursday at 6:15 p.m. Because there are already lots of other Wednesday clubs in the area, we think this is an opportunity to gain more members!
But, we REALLY need help from everyone to make this event successful. Attached are 3 documents to help you get involved with the planning and promoting of the Open House:
1. A flyer for distribution - you can post at your workplaces, in your apartment buildings, at your favorite coffee shops and bookstores, on your Facebook page, etc.
2. A sign-up list for planning the Open House and taking a leadership role in the Open House meeting - if you can participate, send your top 3 preferences to VPE Mark Wills and me
3. An outline of the speech I gave this evening, regarding how to plan an Open House
Thanks for helping out with this event. I know it will be successful if everyone can help out by taking a meeting role and bringing a friend to the meeting on Thursday, June 4, at 6:15 p.m.!
