Hi all,

I'm getting excited for our club contest on Wednesday! We still have a bit of room on our agenda for 1-3 more contestants, in either contest (Tall Tales or Table Topics). Table Topics is an easy contest to participate in as there is no preparation needed -- we will provide the topic!

Please let me know if you would like to compete in the contest or if you plan to attend the meeting on Wednesday but would rather serve as a judge or ballot counter.

It's time for the Toastmasters fall contests! This year, the contests will be Table Topics and Tall Tales. Our club contest will take place at our next meeting on September 17. The 1st place winners from our club contest will go to the Area 31 Contest, which will be held September 23. The winners from the Area Contest then go to the Division C Contest (October 1), and those winners then go to the District 36 Conference (Table Topics – November 14, Tall Tales – November 15).

 

To be eligible to compete in any official Toastmasters speech contest, a member must be a member in good standing of the club. 

 

The subject of all Tall Tales contest speeches will be selected by the contestant. The subject of Table Topics speeches will be determined by the contest chair. Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to compete or to serve in any of the supporting contest roles at our next meeting.
