| Put on your favorite Nats gear and come out to an afternoon game this Saturday. To make it easier to get seats together, we will be buying a block of tickets in advance for those that RSVP to dcyp.social@gmail.com by 5pm today. The game starts at 1:05pm, and we will meet at 12:30pm. See below for details. We are also excited to announce the details of the Spring STEM Carnival at LAYC's Rita Bright Youth Center. We need a lot of volunteers to help put on this carnival for about 150 students! You can easily sign-up on the event page here. Ashley

We will be buying a block of tickets in advance, so please be sure to email dcyp.social@gmail.com by 5pm today to RSVP. We will then buy your ticket and send you an invoice via PayPal. When: Sunday, April 27, 6:00am - 12:00pm
Metro: Metro Center (Red / Blue / Orange)
The second annual Nike Women's Half Marathon DC will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2014. DCYP will be volunteering at the food station on the race day for the runners. If you need to come later or leave early, that's not a problem. For more information on the event, please visit: www.runnikewomenseries.com. Where: Rita Bright Family & Youth Center (1419 Columbia Road, NW)
When: Wednesday, May 14, 5:00 - 8:00pm
Metro: Columbia Heights (Green / Yellow)
The annual spring carnival will be focused on science, technology, engineering, and math, or STEM education, and we expect nearly 150 students at LAYC's Rita Bright Youth Center to be in attendance. Students will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of fun and educational STEM-themed activity stations. We need lots of volunteers to run the stations, help prepare and serve the dinner, or lend a hand wherever needed to help us put on a successful and fun carnival for the kids.
