Agenda items include: 1- STEM Education Carnival Planning 2- Summer Social Extravaganza to plan our big summer social event 3- "DCYP 101" for anyone new to Kiwanis  We will meet for an hour and then we will all go to McFadden's to officially welcome all new members to the club! Ashley Upcoming Events DCYP Meeting and New Member Meet & Greet  Where: West End Library, 2nd Floor (1101 24th Street, NW) When: Wednesday, April 9, 6:30 - 8:30pm Metro: Foggy Bottom (Orange / Blue) Members and guests, join fellow DC young professionals for the April meeting and new member meet and greet! We are seeking your input and ideas for upcoming events, especially for the upcoming STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) Education Carnival, and will break into smaller focus groups. We are also excited to officially induct and welcome our newest members into the club. New to DCYP? Now is the perfect time to join as an official member! Join before the meeting and then attend the New Member Meet & Greet as our guest, immediately following the meeting at McFadden's. Baseball Game!  Where: Nats Stadium (1500 South Capitol St., SE, Washington, DC) When: Saturday, April 19, 12:30 - 2:30pm Metro: Navy Yard (Green) Let's meet up and go to the 1:05pm game vs. the Cardinals.  We'll plan to meet at a corner near the entrance to get tickets.  Corner of Half St SE and N St SE. Volunteer at the Nike Women's Half Marathon  Where: Freedom Plaza (1455 Pennsylvania Ave NW) When: Sunday, April 27, 6:00am - 12:00pm Metro: Metro Center (Red / Blue / Orange) The second annual Nike Women's Half Marathon DC will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2014. DCYP will be volunteering at the food station on the race day for the runners. If you need to come later or leave early, that's not a problem.
