Hey Amani (FYI Grade 3):
Here are the quick notes on the Wainwrights.
· Girls have significant absences due to younger brother’s illness. He is frequently hospitalized. When he is in the hospital, mom does not have alternative transportation.
· The same case applies when one daughter is sick, the other daughter stays home.
· I explained to Ms. Rayfield (mother) that illnesses happen, however, the absence is excused only for the child who is ill.
· Girls have reached 10 unexcused absences. I am sending dates to Ms. Rayfield (via email) for mom to review, and send in appropriate excuse notes.
· ASSISTANCE NEEDED: Alternative methods of transportation (i.e. carpooling, emergency transportation). A—can you send me the link to the PAT list serve? Ms. Rayfield can then post to the list serve a request for carpool, transportation help.
Team: Pls let me know if there are other ways we can support the girls.
