Greetings ANC 6C:

 

As you may recall, in preparation for our 3^rd Annual Ward 6 Town Hall Meeting on April 5^th I'd provided your ANC some important information on a new Small Diameter Water Main Replacement Project in your area, specifically within the vicinity of M Street NE. 

 

Since that time our contractor has successfully installed new water mains throughout the project area, and we are now scheduled to perform the first of many new water main connections on 7^th Street NE, from K Street NE to L Street NE.  This portion of the work has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 15^th from 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.

 

Please be advised that water service will be interrupted at the following addresses during this work:

 

·         1000 Block of 7^th Street NE

·         700 Block of K Street NE

·         660 K Street NE (J.O. Wilson Elementary School)

·         700 Block of L Street NE

·         1100 8^th Street NE

·         1101 7^th Street NE

 

All impacted addresses have been notified of this work accordingly.
