Re: [NSCoderNightDC] DC area iPhone contract development shops with available capacity?

Hi Bill,

Assuming you're not the Bill Pugh who already works here (yes, amazing coincidence), we might have some project work available here at About Objects. I'm in Austin, TX this week, but please feel free to contact Bob Leonard at 571-346-7544 if you'd like more info.

Does anyone have any pointers for good DC area iPhone contract development shops with available capacity?

I'm working on an iPhone app, and looking to work with a good iPhone development shop. I contacted Savvy Apps, but they are so busy they couldn't start work with me for months. HappyApps hasn't responded to my emails, and since the founder of HappyApps is now working for Savvy Apps, I'm guessing they are also busy or unavailable.

Working with an individual freelance iOS developer is another option.

I'm an experienced software developer, but relatively new to iOS development. At a minimum, I'd be looking for strategy/design feedback, and consulting/advice on issues such as the best way to implement slide-out navigation. I'm open to either doing development in tandem, or largely delegating the development. The size/scope of the project is roughly similar to the Glassboard app.

I'll make it to the NSCoderNightDC meeting next week (July 17th) in Bethesda.

Bill
