HOUSING REQUESTS
Looking for a roommate….
· Erin Robertson is a '09 ND grad moving to DC in mid-August looking for a private bedroom within a shared apartment within the range of ($900-1,100 with utilities included) preferably in the American/ Tenleytown/ Columbia Heights area or off the metro redline. Email ecjrobertson@gmail.com.
· Hui Hung is moving to Rosslyn in Arlington, VA on July 22 and is looking for a female roommate who would be interested in sharing an apartment unit with her at Bennett Park Apartments. It's a great spot in Rosslyn, very close to Georgetown and DC proper and a block and a half away from the Rosslyn Metro. Email hui@alumni.nd.edu.
· Two 2012 grads (Carleigh Moore and Steph Socias) are looking for a place in NW DC. We would love to find two or three (or four!) more people interested in renting out a house. We have seen a few places with 4-6 bedrooms and some with as many bathrooms. So, if we could get a group together this could be an "economical" option! If anyone has such a place or is interested in finding one, please email stephsocias@gmail.com.
· Joey Kuhn (Class of 2011) is starting a year-long fellowship at the National Journal in Foggy Bottom and is looking for a place to live starting in late July or August. He would be willing to lease a room in a group house/apartment or join up with someone to find an apartment to share. Looking primarily in Arlington, Capitol Hill/Eastern Market, Foggy Bottom, or anywhere along the Blue/Orange lines, but is flexible as long as bus or metro lines are nearby. Would like to keep rent around $700-$900. Please contact with any leads/interest: jmkuhn18@gmail.com; 412-401-3142.
· Four women (including an ND alum) are looking for one or two housemates in Arlington. Our large town home is located a short walk from the Courthouse and Clarendon metros, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, restaurants, shopping in downtown Clarendon and is a short drive to St. Agnes. The townhouse is only a few years old and is gorgeous! There are four floors, three and a half bathrooms, a large kitchen with granite counter tops, washer and dryer, pool and concierge that receives packages and provides 24-hour maintenance. The open room is the master suite and is the entire second floor. It has a large walk-in closet and a very spacious bathroom (two sinks, separate washroom, granite countertops, large Jacuzzi tub and separate walk-in shower). We like to entertain and are very easy going. The rent for the master suite is $1,850.00 ($925/person if shared) a month plus approximately $80/person/month for cleaning and utilities (we all pitch in on a cleaning service), and $85-$100 for underground parking (parking is optional but street parking is limited and first come first served). The room is officially available on the 27th of August but possibly as early as the first of August. Please contact Meg Miller at miller.meg9@gmail.com.

· Julie Bujnowski is an ND Arkie moving to DC. Julie and another Arkie are looking for a two bedroom, one bath place in Columbia Heights or NOMA, preferably not in a large apartment complex. · Brenna Williams is a new member of the ND alum family! She's looking for a place to live really anywhere in the area (although NoVa in the Arlington/Alexandria area would be ideal), and would like to move in ASAP - so if someone is in a pinch and needs a roommate, she's your girl! Has a room/apartment available….
· The room is in the basement/lowest/garden level of the townhouse. It has a separate entrance, fireplace and bathroom. The only thing that is missing is dedicated closet space. There is some drawer and shelf space.
There is also garage parking available and plenty of parking in the neighborhood. The neighborhood also has walking trails, a tennis court and a swimming pool.
The closest metro is Van Dorn Street (Blue line) and we are one stop away from King Street and Old Town. Ramps to 395 and 495 are less than 1 mile away. There are also plenty of stores (safeway, giant, starbucks etc) around. It's about 15 mins away from DCA.
We're asking for 1050 + utilities. Utilities we usually split evenly 3 ways, and comes to about $60. We have DirectTV (250+channels), and high speed internet. In the living room we've got a huge sectional and a 55inch TV that everyone uses. We've also got all the toys, Xbox, PS3, Netflix, Hulu, etc etc.
The tenants would be myself (class of '02) and my co-worker (a U of MD grad '10) and you.
