[NSCoderNightDC] bizarre UIActionSheet behavior—can anyone take a look?

I opened a stack overflow question with an example project documenting very strange behavior I noticed when using a UIActionSheet with a tab bar: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11415272/displaying-an-action-sheet-over-a-disabled-tab-bar-in-tab-bar-partially-enables

I almost want to call it as a bug in UIKit, but seeing as it's probably me being an idiot I'd like someone to double-check my work first. Any ideas?
