Amanda Upcoming Events Eco Stewards Discovery Day Where: Springhill Lake Recreation Center (6101 Cherrywood Lane, Greenbelt, MD 20770) When: Saturday, March 21, (10:00am - 1:00pm) Metro: Greenbelt (Green/Yellow) Volunteer with us this Saturday at the CHEARS (Chesapeake Education, Arts and Research Society) Eco Stewards Discovery Day! Located at the Springhill Recreation Center in Greenbelt, MD, we will be helping with the last phase of their Food Forest design. The Blossom Kite Festival soars into spring and kicks off the kite flying season with five areas to explore and enjoy: the Competition & Demonstration Field, Family Field, Kite Club Display Area, Activity Tents, and Public Field. See the creativity of kite makers and skill of kite fliers from across the US and internationally through competitions and demonstrations – including the popular Hot Tricks Showdown and the Rokkaku Battle!
