We’ve added a couple new events for March – be sure to check them out below. If you haven’t already, please remember to register a team for our annual flip cup tournament.

ND-YA SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES (2/15)

Thanks to all who have been participating in the DC Catholic Charities events over the past few months. To continue to be involved with this great organization, check out its website at http://www.catholiccharitiesdc.org/volunteer for future opportunities including the Cup of Joe Event, tomorrow Saturday, February 15th from 8:30am-11:30am in Hyattsville. There are a ton of amazing organizations doing great work in DC and the surrounding area so if you have any recommendations or suggestions for future group volunteering events or organizations to work with, please send Katie Hughes (kmhughes5@gmail.com) or Matt Hopke (mhopke@gmail.com) an email so we can get something planned.

ND WOMEN CONNECT HAPPY HOUR (2/20)

Join us for an informal ND Women Connect (NDWC) networking happy hour on Thursday, February 20th at Circa at Foggy Bottom. The happy hour will also be an opportunity to provide input on potential NDWC events and programs, including service opportunities, wine tastings, and a mentoring program.

REGISTER FOR THE WINTERFEST FLIP CUP TOURNAMENT (2/28)

Winterfest, our annual flip cup tournament, is being held at McFaddens on Friday, February 28th! (2401 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20037) There will be an open bar serving beer only from 8:30-11:30 pm.  All teams should arrive prior to the games commencing at 9 PM. You don't have to play to attend - come and watch your fellow alums! To participate in the open bar, it's $25 per person if you're on a team, $20 for everyone else. Prizes will be given to the winning team!

To pre-register to play, please email us at dcnotredameyoungalumni@googlegroups.com with your team name and a list of five team members - only one needs to be an alum.  

ND-DC ALUMNI MASS (3/8)

Join ND alum Fr. Pete Folan (‘00) for an Alumni Mass to celebrate the season of Lent. Mass will take place on Saturday, March 8th at 4:30 PM in the Holy Trinity Chapel in Georgetown. We hope to see you there!

ND WOMEN’S LACROSSE VS. MARYLAND (3/15)

Come cheer on the ND Women’s Lacrosse team as they take on the University of Maryland at College Park at 12 noon on Saturday, March 15.
