| Join us next Saturday, June 8 for the DCYP Evening at the Gallery, a toast to DC Young Professionals Kiwanis' eight years of serving the DC community. Enjoy a fabulous evening of socializing and networking. A complimentary selection of heavy hors d'oeuvres and local beers and wines will be available. We will also be raffling off a number of items including a wine tasting at Total Wine with a value of up to $500! Tickets to the DCYP Evening at the Gallery are available for $40 or a pair for $70. Come meet and hang out with fellow young professionals at happy hour / meet and greet at Banana Cafe. Located in Eastern Market near the metro.
Drop in anytime between 6 and 8pm. You can also pick up information on the upcoming service projects and events. See you all soon! Just ask the host for Kiwanis or look for the balloon.
DCYP Evening at the Gallery
Where: The Fridge DC (Art Gallery) (516 8th Street SE Rear alley)
When: Saturday, June 8, 6-8pm
Metro: Eastern Market (Orange / Blue)
JOIN US for cocktails, excellent company and a toast to DC Young Professionals Kiwanis' eight years of serving the DC community. This year's charter event will take place at the swanky Fridge DC gallery in Eastern Market, and will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres and a selection of local beers and wines. Wine and gift baskets will be up for raffle ($1 per ticket; members present will receive a complimentary ticket.) Afterward, continue the celebration with us at a TBD venue on Barracks Row. Friends, dates, coworkers, grandmothers encouraged! All proceeds will support DCYP Kiwanis' efforts throughout the year to serve local schools, homeless programs and more. Children's Inn Dinner and Father's Day Party
Where: Children's Inn (7 West Drive Bethesda, Maryland 20814 )
When: Sunday, June 16, 4:00 - 8:00pm
Metro: Medical Center (Red)
The Children's Inn is a special home-away-from-home for families whose children are receiving treatment at NIH. In honor of all the "Super Dads" at the Children's Inn, DCYP will prepare a special dinner with foods that dads love and help the children create cards and gifts for their dads. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve the meal, interact with the families, and help the children with crafts. To sign up, email DCYP.Service@gmail.com.
Annual Meeting and Elections

Kick off the summer with DCYP by providing valuable feedback and ideas for upcoming activities! At this annual meeting, members can vote for the new leadership team, welcome in new members, and learn how to become involved in the behind the scenes of DCYP. Key Club and CKI Alumni Reception

When: Friday, July 5 5:30 - 7:00pm
Metro: Woodley Park (Red) & Columbia Heights (Green / Yellow)
Kiwanis International (KI) invites you to attend a special reception for Key Club and CKI Alumni at the Mellow Mushroom in Adams Morgan. The event will take place as thousands of students descend upon DC for the Key Club International Convention.
There is no cost to attend the reception, and KI will provide pizza, a fun program and great giveaways. To learn how to register, contact Amanda at dcyp.president@gmail.com.
