| A big thanks goes out to all of our volunteers who came to help and support the Spring Carnival at the Boys & Girls Club last Saturday. The event was a great success!
Save the date for the DCYP Charter Event- June 8, 2013 at The Fridge DC (an art gallery located in Eastern Market). The Charter Event Planning Committee will be meeting tomorrow, and there is still time to get involved! If you would like to volunteer on the Charter Event Planning Committee, please contact Dustin at dcyp.events@gmail.com.

Outdoor Movie Social
Where: Gateway Park in Rosslyn (1300 Lee Highway Arlington, VA - near Key Bridge)
When: Friday, May 17 7 - 9pm
Metro: Rosslyn (Orange / Blue)
This year’s Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival relives the high school years this spring and summer. Join us to kick off the festival by viewing the classic Breakfast Club. We’ll meet up at 7pm at the beautiful Gateway Park. Feel free to bring blankets and low outdoor chairs. The screening is just two blocks from the Rosslyn metro and parking is available on the street and at the Atlantic Parking Garage for $3 after 6pm. Happy Hour / Meet & Greet
Where: Banana Cafe (500 8th Street, SE)
When: Wednesday, June 5, 6-8pm
Metro: Eastern Market (Orange / Blue)
Come meet and hang out with fellow young professionals at happy hour / meet and greet at Banana Cafe. Located in Eastern Market near the metro.
Drop in anytime between 6 and 8pm. You can also pick up information on the upcoming service projects and events. See you all soon! Just ask the host for Kiwanis or look for the balloon.
DCYP Charter Event

In honor of our 8th anniversary, join DCYP Kiwanis for a social event to celebrate our club’s service to the community! Taking place at a Eastern Market art gallery, this will be a special evening reception of networking, hors d'oeuvres, and, of course, wine . All members, guests, and friends are welcome to attend.
