VOLUNTEER AT FATHER MCKENNA HOMELESS SHELTER (Saturday, 1/30)

Join the NDDC in volunteering at the Father McKenna Homeless Shelter on Saturday, January 30! The Day Shelter welcomes approximately 95 men each day for an array of services.  Without volunteers, the shelter is not be able to be open on Saturdays - so this would really help them out!  They need volunteer support 7:30 - 1:30, so we're looking at 2 shifts (7:30-10:30, 10:30 - 1:30).    The nominal schedule is as follows:

7:30        Arrival and Quick Orientation
8:00        Serve Coffee/Tea and pastries
8:30        Serve breakfast
9:00        End of breakfast / Prep lunch
11:30     Group meeting in Chapel
12:00     Serve lunch / eat with the men
12:45     Clean-up

If you are interested in helping out, that would be great!  Please email MaryKate Robinson at marykate@alumni.nd.edu if you are interested and what your availability is (what shift you would like).  And feel free to pass on the invite/request!
