Hang out with DC Young Professionals as you sink battleships, play the game of Life, or feed hippos. Where: Foundry United Methodist Church, Basement, 1500 16th St NW When: Monday, February 22 (6:30-8:30 PM) Metro: Dupont Circle Contact: DCYP.Service@gmail.com Volunteer with us as we fulfill prisoners' requests with the Books-to-Prisoners Project at the Foundry United Methodist Church. We will round up donated books to send to prisoners based on their interests articulated through letters. First-time volunteers need to arrive no later than 6:30 pm for the required orientation. The B2P project supports prison libraries in all 50 states and sends out more than 4,000 packages annually.
