VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT THE FATHER McKENNA CENTER (3/14)

Join fellow Notre Dame Alumni for a service opportunity in downtown Washington DC! Volunteers will be working at the Father McKenna Center (http://www.fathermckennacenter.org/), a social service agency that principally provides a variety of services to homeless men including meals, clothing, access to phone and mail and case management. Volunteers will assist in providing enough “humanpower” to open the Center on Saturday to provide meals and other services to the men in the community. Should be a great day!

We are breaking the day into two three-hour shifts. 7:30 am-10:30 am and 10:30 am-1:30 pm.

  • Date: Saturday, March 14th

  • Time: 7:30 am-10:30 am OR 10:30 am-1:30 pm

  • Location: Father McKenna Center (9 minute walk from Union Station Metro!)

19 I Street NW, Washington DC 20001

If you are interested in volunteering, please email Katie Hughes at kmhughes5@gmail.com with the shift you are interested in. First come, first serve!
