| Because of the weather, a few of our outdoor service events originally scheduled for this month have been postponed, so tomorrow we will be volunteering with Food for All. This is one of our favorite service projects, and volunteers will assist with bagging and delivering food to various at-need individuals in the DC area. The event will start promptly at 9am. Upcoming Events Food for All *EVENT CHANGE*
Where: Universalist Methodist Church (1810 16th St NW)
When: Saturday, February 21, (9:00 - 11:00am)
Metro: Dupont (Red)
Join us this Saturday as we join one of our favorite non-profits in the area, Food for All. The weather hasn't shaped up in our favor in the past two weeks, so unfortunately we had to postpone some of our outdoor volunteer events. This time around that won't be an issue, we'll be assisting Food for All with food deliveries around the Greater DC area. They are a well-known non-profit and provide emergency food deliveries to various at-need individuals in the city who would have trouble with getting food otherwise through either physical or financial restraints. Where: Kennedy Center (2700 F St NW)
When: Thursday, February 26, (5:30 - 8:00pm)

DCYP Kiwanis is heading to the Kennedy Center for a free stand-up comedy show by acclaimed comic, Hari Kondabol. Check out the Kennedy Center's profile below:
"The New York Times has called Hari Kondabolu 'one of the most exciting political comics in stand-up today.' Hari served as a writer and correspondent on the Chris Rock–produced television show Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell on FX, and has performed on the Late Show with David Letterman, Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show."
Free general admission tickets will be distributed in the States Gallery starting at 5:30pm, with up to 2 tickets per person. The show starts at 6pm. The Kennedy Center is a 10 minute walk from the Foggy Bottom/GWU station (Orange/Blue/Silver lines). Find us in the States Gallery to get tickets and look out for the red balloon! When: Monday, March 2 (6:00 - 8:00pm)
Metro: Dupont Circle (Red)
Join DCYP as we sort through donated books and send them off to prisoners based on their interest articulated through letters or by need. The B2P project supports prison libraries in all 50 states and sends out more than 4,000 packages annually. This program has been around for more than 10 years and is truly one of a kind.
