[NSCoderNightDC] UDID

What is an acceptable alternative to using the UDID for metrics?

Has anyone used SecureUDID? The one issue I have with it is that it allows the using to opt-out. I'm not sure what the mechanics of that are. I'm interested to hear what you guys use.
