[dcyp] Volunteer at Food and Friends next week!

Volunteer with DCYP at Food and Friends Where: Food and Friends, 219 Riggs Road NE, Washington, DC, 20011  When: Thursday, October 6 - 5:40 PM to 8:00 PM The Food & Friends kitchen and grocery pantry prepares more than 3,000 meals each day, so it takes many helping hands to make sure all the food is prepped, portioned and packaged correctly. The kitchen is a fun, hands-on atmosphere where we will be preparing and bagging meals for their daily delivery to people living with life-challenging illnesses. We are limited to a group of 6 total volunteers. Volunteers will be required to confirm their spot and register ahead of time in Food and Friends' volunteer database.
