--(1 [with a bullet]) As noted last evening, we'll be "homeless" after March. Please forward any suggestions to the group ASAP so we can start making contacts and, hopefully, not miss too many beats continuity-wise.
(1A) Delores Junious, the Area 31 Director, attended last night's meeting and she offered to help us find a new meeting place. When time allows today, I'm going to send her an email (CCing all of you) re: our situation, which, hopefully, she'll follow through on with the Division Director in aiding us in our search.
(2) As of this morning, we have two new members: Christopher Moore and Dalong Pang. I have yet to process them via the TI website, but their money is in hand (to be deposited later today [along with Jill's, Nils' and my $4 club fees]), so yay for us!
(2A) I should note that Christopher has paid for February-March 2016 as he turned in his application a while back and I just got payment today via PayPal. I emailed him to thank him and send him the free-standing"Ice Breaker" PDF, but I also asked about $40 payment for April-September. Hopefully, that comes through.
(3) After all of the rigamarole surrounding Katie's membership, it's now cleared up and she paid for another six months (also in hand and to be deposited later today).
(4) If you haven't yet paid for April-September, please do so ASAP by logging in to TI's website and going to Club Central. If you have any difficulty with the process, please let me know at your earliest convenience.
(5) Last, but not least, congrats to Jill, the winner of our 2016 International Speech Contest. She'll represent TFC at the area contest on March 30. She gave a moving speech last night that was certainly deserving of its reward.
