If you've been to a few events and are considering joining officially, just contact Carly at dcyp.membership@gmail.com for details.  As always, if you have ideas for events you'd like to see, don't hesitate to contact us!   Upcoming Events​ Volunteer with Age-In-Place Where: Seabury at Home First, 2501 18th Street NE  When: Saturday, March 12, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM Metro: Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood   We are very excited to be working with Seabury Resources for Aging once again! A favorite project of many of our members, Age-In-Place provides basic home maintenance such as house cleaning and yard maintenance to older adults living in DC's Wards 4 and 5. The program allows the eldery to continue living independently in their homes with a little outside assistance from volunteers like DCYP.  RSVP on meetup or email dcyp.service@gmail.com. Please note in your response if you will be riding the metro so we can coordinate rides from Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood. As always, we'll plan a brunch for afterwards!  Happy Hour before Underground Comedy @ The Big Hunt!  Where: The Big Hunt, 1345 Connecticut Ave NW  When: Wednesday, March 16, 6:30-8:00 PM Metro: Dupont Join for burgers, beers, and big laughs at The Big Hunt on March 16th! Burgers are half-price, beers at Happy Hour prices until 7pm, and Comedy show starts at 8pm. Get to know others involved in DCYP Kiwanis and what we have been up to recently. RSVP on meetup and learn more about Underground Comedy at The Big Hunt. Just look for the Kiwanis balloon!  Meeting and New Member Meet & Greet  Where: Southeast Neighborhood Library, Basement, 403 7th Street SE (and then the Banana Cafe!) When: Tuesday, March 22 (6:30-8:30 PM) Metro: Eastern Market Whether you're a first timer, a seasoned Kiwanian, or a new member ready to get more involved, the quarterly Meeting and New Member Meet & Greet has something for everyone!
