Amanda Upcoming Events​ Fall Festival Planning Meeting and Happy Hour Where: The Exchange Saloon, 1719 G St NW When: Monday, October 5 (6:30- 7:30 PM) Metro: Farragut West & Farragut North  Join the special events team for our first committee planning meeting for the upcoming Fall Festival for the Easter Seals. Everyone is welcome to get involved, share ideas, and help plan for this awesome event over happy hour! Please RSVP to Lissa at dcyp.service@gmail.com, or let her know if you would like to help, but can't make this meeting.  Hike and Picnic at Great Falls  (NEW) Where: Great Falls National Park, McLean, VA When: Sunday, October 11 (12:00 PM - 3:00 PM) Get outside and join us for a picnic and hike at Great Falls National Park on October 11!  We'll grill up some lunch to enjoy around noon then indulge in the great outdoors until late afternoon! Contact dcyp.social@gmail.com to sign up and please let us know if you are able to help drive.  October Happy Hour at RFD (NEW) Where: RFD, 810 7th Street NW When: Thursday, October 22 (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM) Metro: Gallery Place-Chinatown (RED, YELLOW. GREEN)  Join us at RFD for a mid-October happy hour Thursday, October 22nd from 6-8pm! Come connect with other interested (and interesting) DCYP volunteers and enjoy what RFD has to offer! Just look for the red balloon. Reminder: Renew Your Membership through 2016! As we gear up for an exciting 2015-16 Kiwanis year, we would like to kindly remind all members to renew your dues as soon as possible to keep your membership current through September 2016.
