Where: Nationals Park (1500 South Capitol St SE DC)  When: Wednesday, August 5, (7:05 - 11:00pm)  Metro: Navy Yard (Green / Yellow)  Take me out to the ball game... La la la.... You know the drill! Join DCYP Kiwanis at a Nats vs. Diamondbacks showdown. There will be (friendly) rivalry, (unhealthy) snacks and lots of team spirit! Rather than fret over group seats, we're going to watch from the Red Loft – so just buy the cheapest ticket you can and meet us there! Email dcyp.social@gmail.com once you have purchased a ticket so you can be sure to meet up with the group. Also, August 5 is "Jayson Werth Chia Pet Day," so we'd recommend arriving early to make sure you're one of the first 20,000 fans :) DC Public Schools Beautification Day Where: Tyler Elementary School  (1001 G St SE) When: Saturday, August 22, (9:00am - 1:00pm)  Metro: Eastern Market (Blue/Orange) DC Beautification Day is a citywide "spruce up" of all DC public school buildings in preparation for the first day of school. Beautification efforts included landscaping, trash pick-up, light painting, planting flowers, and other beautification efforts.
