ADMITTED STUDENTS RECEPTION (4/14)

Please join us at the Admitted Students Reception on Tuesday, April 14th to welcome high school seniors who have been offered admission to Notre Dame. This is an opportunity to mingle with prospective students and their families, share your experiences, answer questions, and offer a glimpse into what makes Notre Dame so special. Your insights, knowledge, and passion will be key to the success of this event, so we’d love to have you! The reception will be held at the Navy League Building (2300 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA – near the Courthouse Metro) from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Pizza and beverages will be served. POWERUP ETHIOPIA SPRING 2015 FUNDRAISER (4/22)


Concordia Humana invites you to its Spring 2015 Fundraiser to support PowerUp Ethiopia on Wednesday, April 22 at BlackFinn Bar and Grill from 6 PM to 9 PM. With a $10 donation at the door, you will have access to drink specials (including $3 domestic drafts, $4 mixed drinks and $5 house wines) and will be entered into a raffle to win a $100 BlackFinn Gift Card! You will also have the opportunity to purchase pottery made by villagers in Ganda Boya. All donations will be used to support PowerUp Ethiopia's construction of a solar-powered well in Ganda Boya, Ethiopia. Hope to see you there! HOLY TRINITY YOUNG ADULT RETREAT (4/24 - 4/26)

The Young Adult Community at Holy Trinity Church invites you to attend the upcoming Ignatian retreat "What is Your Life for?" Take time in the Blue Ridge Mountains to explore the ways we can recognize God's call in our lives and make well discerned decisions about issues young adults commonly face. FOOD AND FRIENDS SERVICE EVENT (4/25)


Join fellow Notre Dame Alumni for a service opportunity in Washington DC! Volunteers will be working with Food and Friends, an organization dedicated to preparing and delivering specialized, nutritious meals and groceries to those facing HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-changing illnesses. Volunteers will assist in meal and grocery delivery to approximately 6-10 households. For those without a car, we can pair you up with a volunteer that has a car to assist with navigation between deliveries.


  • Date: Saturday, April 25th

  • Time: Meet at 9:00am. A delivery route takes between 1-3 hours depending on quantity and location of stops.

  • Location: Food & Friends, 219 Riggs Rd NE, Washington, DC 20011 (accessible via the Fort Totten metro stop)


If you are interested in volunteering, please email Matt Hopke at mhopke@gmail.com and please mention whether or not you have a car. Food & Friends has space for up to 10 different cars. First come, first serve!


ND WOMEN CONNECT PERSONAL FINANCE SEMINAR ( 4/30)


Notre Dame Alumna Lauren O’Brien, CPA, an advisor at Lara, May & Associates,  will lead a seminar on personal finance on Thursday, April 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 at Hogan Lovells, Litigation Center (555 Thirteenth St. NW).  The event will include a networking happy hour before a one hour seminar, featuring Q&A. Light refreshments will be provided. There is no cost, but space is limited so please RSVP by April 23 to Liz Lockwood at elizabeth.c.lockwood@gmail.com


THEOLOGY ON TAP SPRING SERIES (TUESDAYS)


DCCatholic presents its Spring Theology on Tap series. Join us at Buffalo Billiards in Dupont Circle for our 6-pack talk series on Tuesday evenings April 7-May 12. All young adults (21-late 30s) are invited for Happy Hour specials from 6-7pm with a talk and Q/A to follow from 7-8pm.
