| This Saturday is the DCYP Evening at the Gallery in Silver Spring. We are looking forward to a great night! Tickets are still available. If you have not yet purchased one but would like to go, see the event details below for PayPal links.
The DC Public Schools Beautification Day is next Saturday, August 24. The location has been updated. We will now be volunteering at Roosevelt High School @MacFarland. We will prepare the school building for the new year by doing projects such as painting, landscaping, carpet cleaning, and more! Email dcyp.service@gmail.com for details!

DCPS Beautification Day is the official day for a citywide "spruce up" of all DC public school buildings in preparation for students' first day back to school. As volunteers gather at schools across the city, DCYP Kiwanis will be at Roosevelt HS @ MacFarland to help with things like painting, landscaping, carpet cleaning, and more! Come meet and hang out with fellow young professionals at happy hour / meet and greet at Elephant & Castle in Farragut. 900 19th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20006 near the Farragut metro stops. Drop in anytime between 6 and 8pm. You can also pick up information on the upcoming service projects and events. See you all soon! Just ask the host for Kiwanis or look for the balloon.

Where: Washington Printmaker's Gallery (Second floor of the Pyramid Atlantic Art Center- 8230 George Ave Silver Spring, MD 20910)

JOIN US for cocktails, excellent company and a toast to DC Young Professionals Kiwanis' eight years of serving the DC community. This year's charter event will take place at the Washington Printmaker's Gallery in the Pyramid Atlantic Art Center in Downtown Silver Spring and will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar selection of local beers and wines. Afterward, continue the celebration with us at some nearby bars in Silver Spring.
Wine and gift baskets will be up for raffle in support of the Eliminate Project. ($1 per ticket; members present will receive a complimentary ticket.) Items in the raffle include an exclusive wine tasting for 20 people at Total Wine & Spirits (Valued at $500) as well as gift baskets and tastings at Oak Barrel Vineyard!
Friends, dates, coworkers, grandmothers encouraged! All proceeds will support DCYP Kiwanis' efforts throughout the year to serve local schools, homeless programs and more
