[anc6c04] Meetings this week for new neighborhood restaurants & more

All,

There are two neighborhood meetings this week:

1) Tuesday, 8/13: Both Indigo & TD Burger are seeking to open later
this month at opposite corners of 3rd & K NE (SW & NW, respectively).
There will be a meeting at 6 pm at Indigo and 6:45 at TD Burger to
meet the business owners and discuss their plans. Each is seeking a
liquor license and plans to have outdoor seating.

2) Wednesday 8/14: ANC 6C is meeting at 7 pm at 700 2nd Street NE
(Kaiser Permanente). The agenda includes

- TD Burger & Indigo liquor license applications
- Uline Arena redevelopment public space & transportation changes
(primarily related to Congress Street NE).
- KIPP charter school is seeking to open a high school at the former
Hamilton School adjacent to Gallaudet on Brentwood Parkway (near the
corner of 6th & Penn NE).
- CHNNA will have its August meeting in the same room, following the ANC votes
