Dear WAPA members:
Please join us in congratulating this year's recipients of the Praxis Award. An especially robust competition this cycle resulted in five awardees: one winner and four honorable mentions. The 2017 Praxis Award goes to Luisa Cortesi, Yale  University, for the competition entry, "Dug-well Revival: Tradition, Knowledge,  and Equity in Drinking Water in North Bihar, India."
    Honorable Mentions were presented to the following:

    Project: A Video Ethnographic Study: Raising Healthy  Children in Poverty and Examples of Excellence in Addressing Childhood Wellness

    Awardees have been invited to present their projects at the April 10 WAPA monthly meeting. Updates will provided on the meeting in due course.
