[ND-DC-YA] Holiday Happy Hour Tomorrow!& Basketball Game Watch This Weekend!

Come celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with fellow ND Young Alumni! Join us at Penn Social for happy hour specials and networking tomorrow, Thursday, December 14 at 6PM! Happy hour drink specials run from 4-7PM and include $2 off beers, $5 well drinks and $6 wines. EVENT DETAILS


ASSIST DON BOSCO YOUTH CENTER OF MANASSAS (Dec. 10-16)

The Notre Dame Club of DC is assisting the Don Bosco Youth Center of Manassas in collecting gifts for their participants & families as well as two volunteer opportunities available in December.


If you would like to donate a gift card or gift to the youth at the center, please see the link here for more specific needs for the kids and families: http://bit.ly/2AArXZU.


If you are interested in volunteering, the ND Club will be assisting in baggin gifts (some time the week of Dec. 10-16, specific date TBD) and helping with their annual Christmas Dinner and celebration for the families of their participants on Saturday, December 16 from 4PM until around 9/10PM. Please email JudeAnne Heath at judeanneheath@gmail.com if you can volunteer or need further information. Thank you for your generosity!


WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA (Sat., Dec. 16)

The Notre Dame Club of DC is volunteering with Wreaths Across America in Arlington, VA (metro accessible!) on Saturday, December 16. Wreaths Across America is the annual event where wreaths are placed on every tombstone in Arlington National Cemetery. Gates open at 8:30 AM with wreath laying starting at 9:15 AM. EARLY ADMITTED STUDENTS RECEPTION (Thurs., Jan. 4)

Please join us at the Early Admitted Students Reception on Thursday, January 4, 2018 to welcome high school seniors who have been offered early admission to Notre Dame. This is an opportunity to mingle with the Class of 2022 and their families, share your experiences, answer questions, and offer a glimpse into what makes Notre Dame so special. Your insights, knowledge, and passion are key to the success of this event! The reception will be hosted graciously by Alumna Jennifer King '94 at 7803 Maple Ridge Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814 from 7-8PM on January 4, 2018. Food and beverages will be served. Please RSVP to Tara Schimpf '10. We hope to see you there!
