LOOKING FOR TEMPORARY HOUSING
LOOKING FOR PERMANENT HOUSING
*** 10/2 Hey! I'm looking for a room in DC starting October 1st. I graduated from ND in 2014 and am an architect/urban designer moving to the city at the end of the month for a new job and to be closer to my family. I'm looking to find an apartment with access to the red line since I'll be commuting out to Bethesda. I'm up for moving into an existing place or finding an apartment with someone. I'm a respectful and clean roommate, and would have no problem keeping the common areas clean. I'll be pretty busy with work during the week and usually hit the gym after work, but am definitely up for sharing a beer or glass of wine with my housemates and chatting about our days. One other thing, I do have a small cat. Her name is Bella, and she is only about 7 lbs and very quiet and calm. If that was a concern in any way though, she could stay in my room the majority of the time, but she is very sweet and barely makes a noise. If you have an available room, just shoot me an e-mail at erica.ridlon@gmail.com. Thanks!***
*** 9/5 My name is Kevin Culligan, and I'm a recent graduate (class of '17) from Notre Dame. I'm starting a job in McLean, VA in a few weeks, so I'm looking for a male roommate in the Washington, D.C. area. Anyone interested can reach out to me at kcullig1@alumni.nd.edu. ***
*** 9/5 Hello, I am a 2017 ND grad moving to the DC area in September. I am working in downtown DC, but I am open to living in both DC and Virginia. I would prefer a female roommate with access to a metro station. I am a organized, easy going person who is guilty of watching too much Netflix. Please email me at stakahat@alumni.nd.edu if you know of any opportunities. Thanks!***
*** 8/17 Hey Everyone! This is Terrence, class of '95. Go IRISH! I'm transitioning back to the area after some years away and looking for a room to rent (with a bathroom) near Logan Circle. I want to keep costs low and only spend $500 a month on the room if possible. I have family in the area and am staying with them while I sort through job opportunities (e.g. legislative research analysis) in the area. I am a great high character and low drama roommate. Please email me at tporterdc@outlook.com if you know of any opportunities. Thank you and Be Richly Blessed! Terrence***
HAS A ROOM/APARTMENT AVAILABLE
***(NEW) 12/19 Room available January 5 in Northeast Capitol Hill, 3 blocks from H Street, directly between the Eastern Market and Union Station metros and one block from a bikeshare. We are a five minute walk to some of the best bars and restaurants in DC, but still live on a quiet street with a community garden right behind us. The house has a huge cherry tree in the front yard and a patio with a garden and grill out back. Indoors we have all the streaming services and kitchen gadgets you could ever want. Rent for the first floor room is $715/month, and the bathroom is shared with one other roommate. Utilities are an additional $50-$90 depending on the season. The housemates are three women ages 25-30. Please reach out to Beth Spesia with any questions: bethspesia@gmail.com.***
***(NEW) 12/19 Hi all--I am '14 grad moving to New York and renting out my room in January - for a 6 month lease and available to renew after that. Room is a great size with closet and direct access to roof deck overlooking Rock Creek Park. Apartment is on the upper two floors of a townhouse with wood floors throughout, dishwasher and in-unit washer/dryer. It is a ten minute walk to the Columbia Heights Metro stop, Target, and 14th Street corridor. Five minute walk to 16th Street bus corridor and Mount Pleasant main street. 15 minute walk to Adams Morgan, Meridian Hill Park, the National Zoo, and lots of hiking and running trails. Views from the roof deck over the park are beautiful! The other roommates are very easygoing--one is an ND '14 male grad paralegal who works downtown and the other is a female architect who works in Georgetown. Both have pretty normal work schedules, are clean and quiet. The bedroom shares a bathroom with the female roommate upstairs. I am only leaving because I must for my job but the apartment, roomies and neighborhood are all fantastic--email me at delmapalma@gmail.com if interested.***
