[wapadc] UMD Conference call for student papers

"The Practicing Anthropologist Student Association is proud to announce our call for papers for the 8th annual AnthroPlus conference on March 4th, 2017.

Our theme this year, "Exploring Engaged Anthropology," considers the following questions: what does engagement mean? How do anthropologists, professionals, and those within the academy engage with communities whom they work with and for? In what ways are collaboration, difference, and diversity integral to engagement?

Graduate and undergraduate students from any discipline are encouraged to contribute to this discussion. We are accepting 15 minute posters, panels, photography exhibits, and presentations. Abstracts are due February 17, 2017. Abstracts should be no more than 150 words.

Click here to register and here to send an abstract!

Please spread the call to papers to your networks!"
