We are recruiting for at Sr. Health and Research Analyst (GS 14) in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the  Secretary, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), in Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Analysis (OPEA). Position Duties:

• Advise manager and other key officials on research and evaluation, including formulation of evaluations/research projects and interpretation of findings that impact policy such as the Interoperability Roadmap, direction, and long-range goals and emerging trends in healthcare delivery
• Review legislation, statutory provisions, and congressional reports related to public health programs
• Plan and conduct multiple research studies involving complex data analysis techniques focused on the adoption, use and impact of health information technology and related organization policies and programs
• Identify, analyze, and report on emerging trends in the adoption and use of health information technology and other related trends in healthcare delivery
• Provide presentations on public health issues to program officials on a regular basis
• Prepare written materials (e.g., reports, talking points, research manuscripts) for use in publications for the public.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative methods and strategies for planning, evaluating, and documenting program activities.
