Sharing a few calls for proposals for educational research conferences:

Arts Assessment Symposium Call for Proposals

A 2012 West Ed study commissioned by the National Endowment for the Arts noted the need for professional development in arts assessment at all grade levels and in varied teaching situations. In response to the needs defined in this report, the State Education Agency Directors of Arts Education (SEADAE) is orchestrating a professional development symposium focused on authentic assessment in the arts, emerging trends and effective practices. SEADAE is now accepting proposals for conference sessions that will appeal to a broad audience of educators: K-12, higher education, administrators and researchers.

Applications are open now through the deadline of May 15, 2016. More
