All, Time is running out — but you still have time. As a reminder to those of you who attended tonight's meeting and as notice to everyone else, Toastmasters membership dues for the next six-month cycle are due by October 1. The dues break down like this: Current members You pay $40 for October 1, 2015–March 30, 2016. $36 goes to Toastmasters International. $4 goes to Talk For Change. You can pay Toastmasters International its $36 directly by logging in at toastmasters.org and then pay Omer, our Treasurer, the $4 club fee in a timely fashion. You can pay the whole kit and kaboodle via PayPal, but bear in mind there is a nominal processing fee that goes to PayPal. To start the PayPal process, email our club Treasurer, Omer Ipekci, at oipekci91@gmail.com and he will send you an electronic invoice. If neither of these options appeal to you, please contact Omer ASAP. New members If you haven't yet done so, complete the membership application (attached). You pay the aforementioned $40 plus a one-time $20 new member fee. To pay, either use the PayPal method described above or contact Omer to arrange alternate payment.

I realize that this is short notice for many and for that, I sincerely apologize. Please understand, however, that taking action on this now benefits not only Toastmasters, not only Talk For Change, but you, too.

1. You get/retain access to tons of Toastmasters resources (online and off).
2. You'll be subscribed to Toastmaster magazine.
3. You avail yourself of the many opportunities being in Toastmasters affords us — in particular, personal and professional growth behind the podium (or, if you're at Talk For Change, the lectern) and being able to stepping out from behind it to be an effective leader.
