This year's event will feature industry "zones" with local ND alumni present to shed light on recent industry trends, provide some guidance on hiring practices and answer any questions you have. Recruiters and HR personnel will be present to speak with you about current hiring practices and strategies for success. Industries that will be represented include Architecture, Government, Law, Finance, Consulting, IT, and Education/Non-profit.

Light appetizers and drinks will be available. In order to cover costs, there will be a nominal fee of $10 for ND Club of DC Members and $15 for non Club Members.

Sign up here if you plan to attend. We hope to see you there!

MENTORING PROGRAM

A Notre Dame alum, Bryant Welters '10, has a need for mentors at his organization, The An-Bryce Foundation. It is a private non-profit organization dedicated to serving youth and young adults from under-served communities through academic, artistic and environmental education. The foundation is starting a mentor program that is hoping to kick-off at the beginning of next year.

They are looking for young professionals in the DC area who would be excited and interested in becoming mentors for youth, meaning anybody who has a college degree would be a great candidate. (Note: This is different than the ND-WIN Mentoring Program, which matches seasoned professionals with recent graduates)

Please contact Bryant Welters or Elizabeth Shirley to participate in this great program!
