Dr. Meassick has over 25 years of experience in Health Strategy, Program Development, and Integrated Design. Her specialization lies in HIV prevention, effective team leadership and strategic planning. Her work has predominantly spanned the African continent with a strong emphasis on localization and co-creation. She has worked with Health and Human Services, PEPFAR-Department of State, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USAID, and World Vision. In her most recent position as the Chief Operating Officer at the Kenya Women and Children Wellness Center (KWCWC), her role involved providing strategic and technical direction to this newly established organization. She has taught as an Adjunct Professor at institutions such as Hillsborough Community College, USF, and GWU. Dr. Meassick holds a Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology with a Minor in Public Health, complemented by a Master's degree in Development Anthropology from the University of South Florida. Her deep-seated dedication revolves around equipping the upcoming generation of public health professionals with the knowledge and skills essential to effect positive change within the field.
